A topic that I’ve always been passionate about is mental health. It is so important to take care of ourselves not only physically, but also mentally. So much of our lives revolve around how we feel about ourselves and our surroundings and all depends on our mental health. Sometimes we get caught up in everything going on that we forget to take time off for ourselves (I’m guilty of this) and while we may think it’s for the benefit of other things, it only causes us to be more anxious.

Everyone struggles with something in their life because the truth is nobody is perfect, nobody has a perfect life because that idea doesn’t exist. Life affects us all in many different ways, it can lead to stress, anxiety, depression and a lot of times its confusing. But the importance of mental health isn’t just the illness it causes, it’s also maintaining ourselves healthy mentally so we can be the best version of ourselves. What I love most about mental health is all the different ways people manage to maintain a healthy lifestyle. For some people it may be physical activities while for others it may be creative expression such as the arts. It may even be food and cooking, so much plays a role in what makes us happy and what makes us who we are. My purpose with this blog is to research all the ways in which we can create a healthy and positive mindset and to break down what exactly causes us to feel distressed or uncertain in our lives.
